Anything their truck is lacking in terms of appearance is more than made up by the quality of their work. I have NEVER been more pleased with a company I selected just through an internet search. They were honest, respectful, efficient and just all around good people, and made the work look easy. Everything was fairly communicated, and their price structure could not be more straightforward. I want to find more stuff I need to get rid of just so I can use them again!

Down South did an amazing job. I had been looking for a while for a company that would take care of my junk, which had been sitting around for quite some time while I waited for the city of Birmingham to pick it up, but to no avail. Down South came through and completed the job excellently. The staff worked diligently until everything was finished. I called the same day and received service on the same day. I will definitely call them again and highly recommend their services.

Rodger and Paul came out to our home to do a move out clean out and we’re so very helpful and kind. They went through the house with us seeing what needed to go and got right to work. They were quick and efficient got the job done and did a professional job. I would highly recommend.

My family had occasion to come across Down South Junk Removal after the immeasurable loss of a family member. During our time of grief, and feeling overwhelmed by the circumstances, we made an appointment to meet one of their representatives to get an estimate for removal of an accumulation of items over a long number of years. The representative that showed up, Drew, made a very good first impression. He arrived exactly at the time that he said he would, introduce himself, and then went into detail about the services that his company could provide for us. He asked if he could accompany us around the property to give him information on all of the items that we wanted removed from the property and also something that was very important that we didn't think of at the time, things that we wanted to save, such as photos, valuables, weapons, etc. after going over the property, he gave us a time frame for him to complete the estimate which was the following day, which he did exactly as he had stated. Little did Drew know that we had scheduled an estimate from a competitor on the same day after he had left. I must say that Drew had set the standard with his professionalism. Let's just say that the opposing company fell flat in comparison. After getting estimates from both companies, we made out of decision to go with Down South which was very easy to do. When we called Drew back to finalize dates and times, again he reassured us that we have made the right decision. We live over a hundred miles away from the property, but Drew agreed to meet us halfway to get the key to the property to start the job. They were even able to start a day ahead of time and finish earlier than expected. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, from phone calls from Andy, the foreman on the job, about items found at the property that were to be retained, until finishing and final inspection. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Down South has made this entire process for our family at such a difficult time. They certainly eased our minds and exceeded all expectations. Please believe all of the positive reviews, they are all absolutely true! If you are ever in need of their services please do not hesitate to call them!

Super well pleased. Roger, Paul, and Matthew were courteous, professional, and swift. They are credit to Down South Junk Removal! I recommend the company double their wages. Let me tell you DSJR kept their word. They came when they said, they charged what they said. No tricks! I tried the other famous junk people first but they doubled their price when they got to my house. Down South Junk Removal did not play that game. They were honest and I highly recommend Down South Junk Removal.
